A personal note from Mike to his friends, family & fans!
It has been quite a year and I could not let this happy holiday go by without sending a special note to all
of the people I have worked with, met through racing and especially to those who have been there from the beginning.
It would be impossible for me to name every person that made each day of 2005 special for us....
Some of you were there when good news came our way, some were there when “sh!t” happened, and some
were there for me to lean on when I needed you.... For all of this I want to say Thank You for your support,
your advice, your words of encouragement, your smiles, and most of all, your laughter and good sense of humor...
Becoming 2005 NNCORS Champion, Driver of the Year and Sexiest Driver of the Year season is quite an incredible
experience which comes with a great deal of pressure.... I am looking forward to 2006 and all of the learning,
laughter and experience that will come with racing those "Big Fast Trucks" in the NCTORS, it'll be a blast...
A special note to all of our soldiers who put themselves in harm’s way each day and allow us to live our lives
and pursue our dreams, THANK YOU for your undying support and courage to press on, when others quit or fail....

Competed in 18-Street Stock Car races in 1987 1 win, 4 poles, 4 top-5 finishes and 13 top 10 finishes
Competed in 15-Street Stock Car races in 1988 3-wins, 5 poles, 8 top-5 finishes and 13 top-10 finshes
Has competed in 4-Street Stock Enduros from 1985-1988, Best finish 11th place at Seekonk Speedway
1989, Won first place quarter-mile outlaw Street Stock Car Racing at Frontage Road- Escondido, California

Won 2001 Barona Street Stocks Rookie-of-the-year honors and best appearance, moved team operations
Competed in 3-Factory Stock Races with a 2nd place finish at Firebird Raceway in Phoenix, Arizona
1st place finish at the Las Vegas Gran Prix Speedway
Competed in 3-Mini Stock races with a 2nd place at Thompson Speedway
2nd place at the Bullring in the Charger series in Las Vegas, Nevada
Mike also won the 2002 USSCRA & 2003 Western Dirt Modifieds points championship with 11-wins
finishing 2nd in the Driver of the Year balloting, he won 4 races enroute to winning
the Busch Series Rookie of the Year in the #11 Hooters sponsored Ford Taurus.
Also in 2003, Mike was voted Most Sexiest Nascar Driver of the Year.
In 2004, the Stranglehold Racing team competed in the Pure Stocks Series,
Nascar weekly Series and Mini Cup Series at Kalamazoo Speedway,
winning his first Pure Stocks heat race and finising third in the standings.
Also in 2004, Mike won the XASCAR, PASCAR and IROC racing series Championships
giving him 7 Series Championships in various online racing leagues
and is currently racing in the Nascar Nextel Cup Online Racing Series
In 2005, Mike was racing in the Mini Cup Series at Kalamazoo Speedway once again
as well as various online racing leagues such as the NNCORS,
XASCAR Series, PASCAR and IROC racing series, where he notched 13 wins,
28 top 5's and 42 top 10's and was voted Driver of the Year and Sexiest Driver of the Year
Mike won 3 more online racing Series Championships in 2005:
Nascar Nextel Cup Online Racing Series, PASCAR and IROC racing series,
making him the first 10-time Online Racing Series Champion with 44 Career Wins.
In 2006, Mike will race limited schedules in all three Nascar racing divisions
(Nascar Nextel Cup, Nascar Craftsman Truck & Busch Grand National Online Racing Series)
and four races in the Crown Royal sponsored IROC Online Racing Series in the #02 Car!
